Day 18 - A Song You Wish You Heard On The Radio

This post is part of a series of posts in The 30 Day Song Challenge

This was literally the first track that came to mind simply because I believed it had been on the radio at some point which a lot of the music I listen to hasn't.  The track is 'Here I Am' by Bryan Adams.  I have a lot of Bryan Adams in my Media Library.  I quite like his style of music and his voice and I think the lyrics of the song are quite poignant as in keeping with my music with meaning theme that has ran through these posts.

This song was also I believe the title track to the movie 'Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron'.  I went looking to find out how well it did in the charts and found that it reached #5 in the UK charts but even more incredibly, it had never been played on the Radio, the song had not been given airplay.  So to have reached #5 in the charts with no airplay is an achievement in itself.

So for these reasons now even more so I believe it should have been played on the Radio [it has been played occasionally since then] it is an anthem and I am sure there are many people out there like me who can relate to this song:
