Day 21: A Movie That You Watch When You're Happy

This post is part of a series of posts in The 30 Day Movie Challenge

There is something about fairy-tales ad fantasy, that as a child grips us, and as we grow loosens and falls away save for the few of us who grip it back and strive to keep those dreams and hopes alive inside us.  I watched a lot of Movies as a child and there's one that appealed to me and made me smile one that embellished the ideas that we could create our own worlds that we could be transported into.  There's a lot of symbolism in this Movie and in many respects it offers a plethora of opportunities both in entertainment and in study - particularly on the psychological aspects that don't appear to us as children but as we grow older we watch and think again.

The Movie is: 'The Neverending Story' and it captivated the minds of so many children seeing to them as it was, a story about venturing into other worlds and leaving reality and escaping.  To adults now though if you watch it again and think of the Psychological aspects, of the suggestion of mental instability in the main character, delusions of such magnitude they envelope his senses - amazing how age replaces innocence with cynicism no?
