Day 23: A Movie That You Think Everyone Should See

This Movie choice might actually surprise a few people, not least anyone who believes I don't like 'good' movies and like crap.  This Movie is one that I think everyone should see.  It's a timeless classic, based on a story by Stephen King and a Movie that I saw when I was growing up and fell in love with it.  Of all the actors it starred perhaps the most tragic in life is the contrast between the innocence portrayed by River Phoenix in this Movie and the upsetting end that fate would eventually bestow upon him in life.

There are many Movies which contain, now-dead actors ad actresses but there is something about this Movie and the fact connections you form with the characters that for me binds you and makes you feel sad.  This is one of the few films I do believe you can only judge with its cultural significance in tow.

The Movie is of course, 'Stand By Me'
