American Dad :: Roger

The second entry of American origin and the last overall of our 30 days of funny challenge this video is a compilation of Roger the Alien's best bits from American Dad.  I love Roger his humour is brilliant and crass.  Of MacFarlane's creations American Dad is perhaps my favourite.  I was reluctant at first favouring Family Guy more but as the series has progressed and the characters grew American Dad has been my favourite and Roger without a doubt is my favourite character.

Stan is perhaps my least favourite, if I had to pick one specific aspect of his personality that drives me nuts it would be the fact that he doesn't listen.  No-one's opinion matters but his own, that drives me mad but at the same time it is one of the defining features of his character and if it was to ever change the show would be doomed.  We all have shows where we want to shout at the characters "you idiot!" or characters we would want to punch.  Scary Movies are best when there's a character that does things the audience can't help but think "no! don't go in there!" etc, that emotion even if it is negative, is an emotional connection to the characters and draws the viewer in.
