La La Love was one of my favourite entries from 2012 and I thought it would do very well but it finished in 16th place. There were quite a few songs that finished about this entry that I didn't like. Every year when I watch there are some entries I will take an instant like to and others that will grow on me over time. While some countries pick entries that grow on people the thing you have to remember is that for many people the final will be the first and last time they hear the song. The UK's entry this year for 2015 in many respects I see the same way, it is a track that I really didn't like at first but grew on me after a while. The problem with tracks like that is they won't get that opportunity in the final. As for the promotion that some artists participate in beforehand the kind of people you will reach with it are the kind of people who are fans of the contest and will have heard every entry before the final even takes place. I have listened to all the 2015 entries and I know which ones are my favourite, but if Ivi Adamou is anything to go by, having a likeable entry is not enough, it has to be instant.
