The more perceptive of you will have noticed by now that a lot of entries from 2009 have made this list. That year I felt was one of the closest in contention for some time. There are often acts that stand out from the beginning and you know are going to do well. In 2009 I was not feeling that much and I was quite surprised when Norway became a run away lead with Fairytale by Alexander Rybak, which I was not fond of personally. Nevertheless the voting on the night proved you can't predict the winner even if you do account for political voting. This song is not the last we will see from 2009. I have included a video containing the song rather than the performance as I felt it was yet another entry that didn't perform as well as they could on the night.
