We return to 2009 for the last time in our penultimate entry in this list. Lose Control by Waldo's People finished 25th overall, much lower than I had thought it would but as I said before this year was very contentious and there were many acts that had the potential to win. This entry fell at the final hurdle by having a performance which did not go well. This is one of those tracks that works better pre-recorded but not so good when it is performed live. I know many people will say that is just an excuse and to be fair in a way you are right. The fact is you need to be a strong performing artist as well as a recording artist to win in this competition. I have chosen songs throughout this list that I liked not just for their performances or for their recordings but as a whole. This could have gone much better on the night but I am not sure what they could have done to make that happen. The performance was weak so I have included the music video for the track instead.
