This entry is one of those that I hinted about before, where I believe the actual song was a lot stronger than the performance on the night. While some people don't think the Eurovision Song Contest isn't that serious and they laugh and joke about it, for the artists that perform they take the contest seriously. The fans that watch it take it seriously too. Nerves can get the better of a performer and with the population of Europe just shy of a billion people and the contest being broadcast not just here but around the world, even with a fraction of that population watching it is still one of the biggest entertainment events in the world. There can be many reasons why a performance does not go as well as it could and whatever the reason that night I think Chiara could have done much better. It's for that reason I haven't included the actual performance but a video with the song instead.
